Dr. Regenass is one of the few women plastic surgeons practicing in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her medical degree from the University of Utah where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical society for outstanding academic achievement. After a General Surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic, she completed her Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Utah. She is regularly featured on television as a skin care and cosmetic surgery expert. As a consultant for skin care companies, she is on the front line for the latest advancements in her field. Dr. Regenass is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is a member of the Maricopa Medical Society, and is an adjunct faculty member with Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Her research has been published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and she is the author of Dr. Heidi’s Anti-Aging Cookbook. Having been raised in the Southern African country of Zimbabwe, Dr. Heidi came to the United States to pursue her education. Dr. Heidi was one of the first to start employee health programs in companies in Southern Africa. Her programs emphasized nutrition, weight management, exercise, diabetes management, HIV/AIDS education, smoking cessation and holistic health promotion.
